Data Backup and Disaster Recovery

Catastrophes such as hardware failures, ransomware, and Windows Updates can all deem a server useless. So, even though your data is backed up, your server still must be rebuilt, resulting in downtime. Which method you choose to backup your data is solely leveraged on how much downtime you can afford.

Data Backup is more commonly referred to saving documents on a USB drive or the Cloud. While these techniques are great and saving your data in multiple locations, they don’t fare well with massive disasters such as hard drive failures, or situations where your server must be rebuilt.

Disaster Recovery (DR) is the method of creating a “image” of your server to a remote file, or Virtual Infrastructure that can be restored (or booted) much faster than having to rebuild an entire server, user accounts, applications, etc.

Our backup system allows you to have real time backup or scheduled backup to the cloud, local storage, or both. Real time backups will continually scan and save changes, while scheduled backups run when you prefer. Either choice will ensure that your work is backed up, and will never be lost. Our backup system also creates revisions, meaning you have the ability to restore files from the past, or versions prior to your current.

With our proven DR setup, we can guarantee you have as little downtime as possible by testing your DR image nightly, and taking a picture of the Windows login screen to verify that your DR image is accurate.
