Prerequisites: (if you don’t have these, ask us!)
- Your URL / IP Address
- A valid preshared key
- A valid VPN username
Configuration:
- Click Home -> Settings -> General
- Scroll down to VPN
- Click Add VPN Configuration
- Change the Type to “L2TP”
- Add a Description (helpful if you have multiple VPNs)
- In the Server field, enter your URL or IP address
- In the Account field, enter your username
- In the Password field, enter your password (optional, but you will have to enter your password everytime)
- In the Secret field, enter your pershared key
- Keep Send All Traffic enabled.
To connect:
- Click Home -> Settings -> General
- Scroll down to VPN
- Highlight the VPN to connect and then change the slider to Connect (next to Status)
- Given all the settings are correct, the device will handshake and connect to your VPN!
